What is it about southern women rapping that is so, how shall we say it, fantastic?! Is it the accent or the ability to have total dude swagger while lookin like a lady? Maybe it’s just women from ATL, nowhere else. We have a certain respect for grown women who can be sexy without being trashy or looking like teens, which is why we salute Kandi as the Real Housewives veteran keeping things somewhat classy with her fellow Georgia peaches by her side. The “Bedrock” remix video is such a nod to the south especially given that the ladies represent Atlanta’s rich consortium of historically black universities. That aside, Diamond’s witty line about UPS and her goodies are still a lesson we’re trying to learn.

Nivea and our fave underrated rapper Rasheeda flipped Drake’s ubiquitous radio hit and it jams. But we’re wondering if Nivea is talking about Wayne or Dream? We’re gonna go with Weezy, obvs, but it also must suck to see the dude you divorced marry some other lady. At least she can translate it to vocal emotion.
