Ms. Marsha melismafies all over the generally mellow grooves of this mixtape, taking the title literally and imbuing the whole thing with a quiet intimacy. It’s eight songs including interludes but Marsha fans will be fully satiated until the full thing drops in April.

Last night you know we had to celebrate the birth of Suite903 with a classy, cute and fully exclusive party at New York’s East Village club Ella. We invited Marsha Ambrosius, Jesse Boykins III, Waajeed and our resident DJ OP! to provide the sexy soundtrack, and Hennessey Artistry provided the beverages. Here at Suite903, we try our best not to play favorites, but Marsha Ambrosius’s consistency as a performer puts her firmly at the top our must-see list. Recently taking the stage at London’s Jazz Cafe on the 5th, Ambrosius brought down the house, especially when performing the chill-inducing “Say Yes” from her former group Floetry’s first album Floetic. The below videos, are almost as good seeing Ambrosius live, but if you can’t get a ticket to her show, you should hit her myspace and tell her she can make it up to you by releasing some of that Dr. Dre material…
