Kanye West f. Jay-Z and Swizz Beatz, “Power” Remix MP3

kanye-west-power-remix

This remix is like a good red wine that starts off slow with low acidity and explodes in the back of your mouth with the hearty aftertaste. Based on Kanye’s new outlook on life this simile seems appropriate. Kanye just goes off his entire rocker, beasting over Swizz sampling Snap! until it is exactly as the producer says: “all burnt up already.” A few weeks ago interweb-riots started when Kanye proclaimed Swizz Beatz one of the greatest producers of all time within the five minutes he was listening to a song by him. Swizz on the other hand is making quite a case for his title. We could’ve went without the Big Brother appearance but someone had to say that Taylor Swift line. Kanye was too busy co-signing the great Nicki Minaj.

Download: Perajok & Kanye West Presents: G.O.O.D. Ass Mixtape

perajok-kanye-west-mixtape

Nobody really wilds out harder than Kanye West. The dude wears leather shorts and shops for credenzas. WILDIN! His new mixtape is a sign of more youthful times too, the ones when his G.O.O.D. Music team were the new freshest kids on the block. Having a bunch of new additions in the past few months (i.e. Pusha T, Tony Williams) and the rest familiar faces who’ve never left the nest, we’re swimming in a lavish fountain of the crew that never really lost it’s competitive spirit. Imagine how they razz each other with the same praises as the track names: “G.O.O.D. Man,” “I’m G.O.O.D.,” “So G.O.O.D.” No four letters have done this much damage all at once.

Stream: Kanye West f. Beyonce and Charlie Wilson, “See Me Now” MP3

kanye-west-beyonce-connect-4

If you had hopes of this new Kanye album being serious militant music of fire and brimstone we have bad news for you. If you love when Kanye gives you that good soul music you can two step to then come join us in the circle of rejoicing. As we hear it, this song was recorded LAST night and then premiered today on The Angie Martinez Show. The mere idea that this kinda magic was happening somewhere in NYC last night while we were couch-potatoed, drives us insane. Kanye, No ID, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Consequence and Charlie Wilson in a room head nodding and making such fire is beyond our imagination. Also insane: hearing this uncensored and Beyoncé using the N-word. So weird how Yeezy sounds so much calmer on this track but Bey amps it up to like a hundred thousand. Dear Kanye, come fall we’re ready! Last word: how happy are you to hear Kanye rapping? We understand.

Video: Kanye West’s “Chain Heavy” Poem Melts The Minds at Facebook

kanye-west-twitter-facebook

The fish stop swimming when Kanye West rips his rhymes acapella. Take a look back: in promoting College Dropout and Late Registration, there is an album worth of footage of Yeezy separating his lyrics from his beats, leaving behind adages that live on infamy. When he recently visited Facebook HQ, a few thought-provoking words from his new material (”Chain Heavy”) were similar to when he took the stage on Def Poetry to perform “All Falls Down.” And it’s just a “poem,” he says… we’re listening.

Kanye West f. Dwele, “Power” MP3

kanye_west-fader-featurePhoto by Jason Nocito

It’s probably never a good time to be on Kanye’s bad side. The fate that lies ahead: becoming fodder for Mr. West’s impactful return to to the mic (with Dwele as the cleanup man). His first salvo is as powerful as the title. Back when “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” hit, you wait for that bass drum to hit, and without fail, Yeezy explodes after the opening sample of King Crimson’s “21st Century Schizoid Man.” Then comes the motherload: Fuck SNL and the whole cast/ Tell em Yeezy said they could kiss my whole ass/ more specifically they could kiss my asshole/ I’m an asshole?/ You niggas got joooooookes! Be glad it’s them, and not you not on the receiving end. Happy Memorial Day weekend.

Drake, “Find Your Love” MP3

drakefindyrlove-art

The thing that we like the most about Drake is that you can’t peg this guy to one thing. We love the spontaneity of getting all rapping, or all singing, or equal servings of both. The dude is talented enough to basically do whatever he wants. Kanye puts Drake’s “Find Your Love” in the lens of 808s & Heartbreak; don’t even get us started on how much we’re anticipating THAT guy’s album.

One thing we can say for sure: Drake’s album might just be the most surprising thing to come out this year unless Shake Shack starts doing home delivery. We’re anticipating it so much because we have no idea what we’re anticipating. We are however expecting it to be quite creative and have top-notch production, which means we may just give up on music if it isn’t. Just kidding guys, we still have bills to pay!

Video: Kanye West, “Coldest Winter”

Kanye is not in this video, but the essence of his heartbreak is: this is a fairly macabre fairy tale put to screen, a pretty straightforward interpretation of love lost. Also: cool effects! Nabil is responsible for this, the same director who did “Welcome to Heartbreak” and “Paranoid.”

Dedication: Kanye and Amber, You GO.

kanber
These two complete each other and by extension, us, for being so damn fearless with it. Amber is basically wearing a fishnet as a dress on the right and Kanye is wearing old grandpa slippers and they look like they could eat Carine Roitfeld for dinner. How did we ever survive without them? Why don’t they wear fur more often? Can they adopt us? This one’s for AmbYe, because we want to get their images permanently tattooed on our retinas. GET IT IN. STAY TOGETHER FOREVER. Dedication after the jump. (pic via High Snobette)
