Brutha f. Jadakiss, “Sex-a-holic (Can’t Get Enough)” (Remix) MP3
The young gents of Brutha are not playing around. It’s because they’ve mastered the secret to good seduction using harp. If you’re not fucking with the harp then you are in the minor leagues of the game. If you add some “oohs” in the background then your partner is forced to face the fact that they are dealing with a pro. We can’t see how the “Sex-a-holic” original could be better than the remix. Jadakiss has dropped verses on some of the best harem-friendly jams around; that coupled with the fact they mention both Usher and Tiger in a song about being a sex-a-holic solidifies credibility. Hey, it’s Friday, add some sexy to your life for the weekend dudes!

Video: Jaheim f. Jadakiss, “Ain’t Leavin Without You”
If Jaheim stepped to us in the club like this, all nice and smiling and shit, we maybbbbbbbe would go with him. HE’S JUST SO JOVIAL! The problem though is that he’s hollering at like three different chicks in this video, which seems shady. Meanwhile, Jadakiss is like CLEARLY mesmerized in love with the video lady sitting next to him. Great song.
Jaheim f. Jadakiss, “Ain’t Leaving Without You (Remix)”
The observation that R&B singers are becoming more and more like rappers probably has more to do with singers singing increasingly about themselves and their own sexual/material prowess than cases like the above Jaheim/Jadakiss collab where the two reinterpret De La Soul’s “Ring Ring Ring,” but for our money we’d much rather the latter than have to sit through more singing about how people “get it in.” Unless, they’ re talking about sex of course.

Amerie f. Nas, Jadakiss, Cain & Rick Ross, “Why R U (Remix)”
Amerie certainly is an inquisitive little thing, isn’t she? First it was “Why Don’t We Fall in Love,” and not long after, “Can We Go.” Now we simply have “Why R U.” Well, lemme hit you with question… Not actually, but if you found it weird that her label abandoned marketing her in the states after some stellar pop singles, “Why R U,” with its Whodini sample and grafted R&B quotables isn’t going to give you any incite into their thought process. This remix is decidedly more hip hop than we’ve known her to be, but stacking big Ricky Ross on top of Jada and Nas would seem can’t-lose enough to melt even the coldest of (brave) hearts.
