Mr. Hudson ft. Kid Cudi “Everything is Broken”
I can’t say I cared too much about Mr. Hudson’s music before he got down with Yeezy, but I’ll have to assume the bass wasn’t nearly as heavy and his songs didn’t carry this “Push It”-esque background panting. And also, he probably didn’t know singrapster extraordinaire, Kid Cudi. Mr. Hudson is on pace to release his debut this fall but the tidbits I’ve heard so far have me very interested in the newest addition to the Ye-Team.

Consequence ft. Kanye West & John Legend “Whatever U Want”
Them G.O.O.D. Music boys, Con, Kan, and John got together on this track to let us know, much like T.I., that you can have whatever you like by getting “Whatever U Want.” No auto-tune on this one, just a melodic, 2-step worthy beat and flows to follow suit. Tracks like this make me hype for the summer, when I lived in Florida I would drive around in my luxurious car (or a hooptie, see it how you want) blasting summer jams from my hand-me-down speakers all over the highway. This single is from on Cons’ upcoming album ConsTV. Looking forward to it Quence, keep them coming!

Nice To See You (Again), Mr. Hudson
You may already know him from “Street Lights” off Kanye West’s 808’s and Heartbreak, but then again you may not. Known to some as Yeezy’s secret weapon, Mr. Hudson really isn’t new to the spotlight, at least in the UK. His band, Mr. Hudson and the Library, released their first album back in ‘07. What he may be new to, however, is Kanye’s favorite toy, autotune, which he and Ye share on his first single “Supernova.” Mr. Hudson actually stopped by the office some weeks ago and he’s a fun character. He told us about how he had to pose as a student to cut his demo and spoke about his love for old school cars. Along with “Supernova,” grab the mix below, a blend of tracks from his upcoming album Straight Up No Chaser, which will be released on August 3rd.

Kid Cudi gets “Higher Up” on 4/20
Newly signed to Universal Records, Kid Cudi is feeling “Higher Up,” GET IT?, with his new release. Since rolling with the G.O.O.D. Music fam, only GOOD things have been coming to the Kid..I mean, with the exception of that whole NBA All-star weekend/ Reebok debacle! But I digress. In this freestyle, Kanye’s protege of sorts is calling out to see whose all ready to go higher up with him… I am!
