Our mood elevation today comes from not only the office stash of energy drinks, but Brooklyn’s DJ Center (check for his Suite903 podcast here). He has bestowed upon us an exclusive remix of “Tout Passe” from his recent release, Everything in Time. Waajeed from Platinum Pied Pipers has turned the lowkey jam into a mash up of disco Atari beeps and Tropicalia drumbeats. And with the French vocals on top, we have been inspired to take some time out this Monday and ease into the week by hitting the replay button and dreaming about an international getaway.

Exclusive: Georgia Anne Muldrow, “Roses Pt. 2″
Georgia Anne Muldrow is some mystical studio wiz—her productions always sound simultaneously like she’s singing directly in your ear, and transmitting a missive from outer space. On “Roses Pt. 2,” the sequel to “Roses” (a track Mos Def recently copped for The Ecstatic), Ms. Muldrow sounds jubilant and spiritual, optimistic and funky as ever. This is from her latest album, Umsindo, which dropped yesterday on the internets and will hit what record stores remain next week (the same day as the Dudley Perkins record, which she also produced, and has similar Hendrix-lev psychedelic cover art).
