Slopfunkdust f. Khrysis “Trainwreck” MP3 (Exclusive)

Depending on how much you smoke on 4/20, there’s the probability of ending up looking like producers Slopfunkdust and Khrysis in the photo above. Not that it’s the thing to do, but it’s 4/20! Give it a pass, after taking two puffs, of course.

It’s the sticky green that brought Slopfunkdust and Khrysis together on “Trainwreck”. These two like-minded producers have worked together alongside Nicolay and !llmind to put together this one of 10 instrumentals from the first volume in their Smokers Choice series. These buddies pulled a Cheech and Chong, or Meth and Red—in this case—sampling sound bytes from the standard library of stoner flicks. Get an exclusive taste of “Trainwreck” after the jump.

DJ Replay Remixes Kelis for “Queen of Hearts” Mixtape

kelis-fleshtone-mixtape

Now is the best time to get a piece of Kelis. Being a divorcée is up there with being a free agent in the music industry—someone out there, at one point in time, albeit a label or a would-be male companion is lucky if they can lay claim to courting Kelis Rogers.

Those ties to will.i.am/Interscope don’t keep her from wandering off the mainland though, into say DJ Replay’s lab who remixed some of K’s best work into a 25+ minute rave set. It’s pretty incredible the way he added onto records like “No Security” and “Milkshake” with some drums, and samples from Major Lazer, and Benny Benassi to build even more anticipation for her forthcoming album. Trust you haven’t heard it all before. Replay threw in a few Kelis exclusives too. Yup, Kelis is coming. See the tracklist to the mix below, then watch the full-length visual to “Acapella.”

Premiere: DJ Center f. Samia Farah, “Tout Passe (Waajeed RMX)” MP3

djcenter
Our mood elevation today comes from not only the office stash of energy drinks, but Brooklyn’s DJ Center (check for his Suite903 podcast here). He has bestowed upon us an exclusive remix of “Tout Passe” from his recent release, Everything in Time. Waajeed from Platinum Pied Pipers has turned the lowkey jam into a mash up of disco Atari beeps and Tropicalia drumbeats. And with the French vocals on top, we have been inspired to take some time out this Monday and ease into the week by hitting the replay button and dreaming about an international getaway.

YouTube Preview Image
No one doesn’t like Dwele. He is the embodiment of this website, he is the embodiment of everything that is beautiful and pure. We were terribly fortunate when he stopped by the Suite903 HQ to talk about his music, his soul, and his acting aspirations. You will watch it and it will feel like a long dip in a jacuzzi bath with some candles… which incidentally Dwele discusses in this video.

Exclusive: Georgia Anne Muldrow, “Roses Pt. 2″

georgia
Georgia Anne Muldrow is some mystical studio wiz—her productions always sound simultaneously like she’s singing directly in your ear, and transmitting a missive from outer space. On “Roses Pt. 2,” the sequel to “Roses” (a track Mos Def recently copped for The Ecstatic), Ms. Muldrow sounds jubilant and spiritual, optimistic and funky as ever. This is from her latest album, Umsindo, which dropped yesterday on the internets and will hit what record stores remain next week (the same day as the Dudley Perkins record, which she also produced, and has similar Hendrix-lev psychedelic cover art).
