I love Alicia Keys. I do, so much so that in my head, we are the best of friends. What does that have to do with this post or this song? Nothing, it’s just how I feel. Anyway, my girl Alicia has an album out November 24th and a new single to give us a sample of what we can expect. “Doesn’t Mean Anything” is song about how all the material things in the world don’t mean without the person you love. Aw shucks Alicia, your making me blush. The song reads from the perspective of someone who lost the one she loved, but as you know A. Keys has gained someone to love in recent months. I wonder if she has any songs about that on the album? Hmm…
